The Pied Pipers of Newburgh
Newburgh Plumbing & Heating is fully licensed to handle the installation and service of corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST), steel gas piping, and all types of metal and poly venting for appliances and fixtures. Permits are required for all gas work; never let anyone tell you otherwise.
Never handle gas issues yourself!
A gas leaks, even if you think it is minor, may not be minor at all. The slight gas smell that you smell may actually be a hollow wall completely filled with gas. Do not call a plumber first and wait onsite when you smell gas. These are Central Hudson’s direct instructions when you smell gas:
“Don’t turn on any other appliance or electric/electronic device and please do not flush or run water.
LET US KNOW by calling the gas odor hotline at 800-942-8274. Or, call 9-1-1. A representative will come to your location and check for potential leaks or faulty appliances.”
After Central Hudson and/or the City of Newburgh Fire Department is dispatched and determines the job site not to be immediately hazardous, the most common outcome is a lock at leaking equipment, or at the meter itself. Newburgh Plumbing & Heating is fully capable and authorized to test lines, repair leaks, replace lines, and restore gas service to commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings.
